This summer the BDRS is organising two double reed events in partnership with the Royal Academy of Music!
The two events this summer, held at the Royal Academy of Music, will include a range of activities, with an emphasis on playing together. The tutors are postgraduate students from the RAM who will draw on their wide experience as soloists, chamber, and orchestral musicians to provide specialist coaching using the latest teaching approaches.
The partnership will enable RAM students to gain valuable experience in teaching and mentoring players of differing abilities and from all walks of life, and will serve as a foundation for further collaboration between the BDRS and the RAM. The students may take part in future BDRS events and projects to encourage the take-up of double reed instruments.
